Makima (マキマ Makima) is a Public Safety Devil Hunter, who took Denji as her human pet. She is one of the leading figures of Public Safety in Japan and has a considerable reputation among experienced Devil Hunters.
She is later revealed to be the Control Devil (支し配はいの悪あく魔ま Shihai no Akuma) which embodies the fear of control. She serves as the overall main antagonist of the Public Safety Saga.
